Smart City Awareness Drive
On 6th October 2025, JomParking proudly participated in the Batu Pahat Smart and Low Carbon City Day by opening a dedicated booth at the event. This invitation marked a significant milestone in JomParking’s journey toward supporting smart city initiatives in Batu Pahat.
The booth served as a platform to showcase JomParking’s innovative digital parking solutions, which align with the event’s vision of sustainable urban development. Among the 500 attendees were representatives from local councils, industry players, students, and members of the public. Visitors had the opportunity to engage directly with the team, explore the benefits of cashless parking systems, and learn how JomParking contributes to reducing carbon emissions by eliminating the need for physical parking coupons.
The event also featured a demonstration of enforcement systems by GoForce, which integrates with JomParking’s platform to issue compounds and monitor enforcement personnel in real time. Attendees were introduced to GoPayy, a digital coupon system that offers an alternative to app-based parking payments, providing a user-friendly and accessible solution for all.
Beyond product demonstrations, the event fostered valuable networking opportunities with government representatives, urban planners, and fellow tech innovators—reinforcing JomParking’s commitment to building smarter, greener cities through strategic partnerships.
Strategic Partnership with Coupon Agents and Digital Coupon GoPayy
As part of our commitment to inclusive and accessible urban mobility, JomParking has taken a proactive step by deploying Digital Coupon Agents with GoPayy. This initiative addresses a key challenge: not everyone is familiar or comfortable with using parking apps.
By offering a physical, agent-assisted alternative to app-based parking payments, JomParking ensures that all segments of the community—especially the elderly, digitally underserved, or those without smartphones—can still benefit from smart city innovations. GoPayy’s digital coupon system complements existing solutions by providing a seamless, cashless experience that is both user-friendly and environmentally conscious.
To support the deployment of this system, a meet-up session was held on 13th October 2025 in collaboration with Majlis Perbandaran Batu Pahat at Dewan Jubli Intan. The session provided an opportunity to discuss how the digital coupon system works, identify target users, explain commission structures, and explore commercialization strategies.
The presence of Digital Coupon Agents not only facilitates smoother adoption of digital parking but also strengthens community engagement.
